Homecoming II
We've been brainstorming...
Let's call our event: Homecoming II (so as to not confuse the high school kids)
Date: December 28th, 2007.
Time: 6pm-10pm
Place: The Old School (Jonah Ministries)
Who: Trout Lake school alumni (any year)
Opening Ceremonies: 6-6:30
Basketball Game 6:30-7:30
School Lunch 7:30-8:30
Dance and Social 8:30-10:00
Pep band alumni, bring your instruments and play!

We can do a Homecoming III in August 2008 at the TL Fair too, cause that would be fun!
Priscilla, can we be Co-Directors of this? I will take on title of "In Charge" if you want me too, but I think you are doing as much work as me.
I will maintain this blog and keep planning.
Who will be in charge of maintaining an email list of people?
Who will be in charge of food?
Who will be in charge of decorating?
Who will be in charge of Advertising?

I will do whatever to help make this happen..if you want me to "co-direct" that's fine...let's find some others who want to help make this happen, i will enlist alice and my sister to round up some people from their year, and i have some contact info for 3 of my classmates to get them involved!
I feel like 6-10 pm is such a short time for not seeing people in 10 or so years, that doesn't allow much time to "catch up". At the same time, because it's been so long, I do like the idea of having things for people to do the whole time. But at the same time i feel like that is very manageable to commit to a short event like that.
After some time, I think the 6-10 sounds really good...especially during the holidays. Definitely need to have food, dance, basketball, and time for chit-chat...so let's just run with it and see who we can get to take on certain parts of it. I think the big thing that needs to be done is to track everyone down...on the web and snail mail to invite them. I can do some of that when I am home for Thanksgiving...and then maybe we could send out a "save the date" card for the reunion.

Yes, I still will design a Homecoming II card to send out by snailmail and email. I'll get the design to you by January 2008, okay?
